Telcos have acted poorly, so he's become cautious here. They have a higher PE and they used to earn this premium valuation because of ancilliary operations had growth, like technology. Their Telus International is a disaster. Telus faces more competition. BCE is very cheap and Rogers will grow after buying Shaw, so Telus is ranked third.

On BNN at the start of 2024 Mr. Zechner made Telus a top pick for the year. The fellow cant seem to make up his mind.

Enjoy it while it lasts, stock will be dropping at least 1.00-1.25 to 20.75 after Sept. 10th holding day for the .39 cent dividend , it does every time . Debt keeps going up to keep the wheels turning , reality will kick in one day. Anyone that bought in the last 4 years has lost capital and paid taxes on their dividends .
