After 20 years of looking at dividend stocks, anything above 8 percent is looked upon as JUNK BOND LEVELS.  And here we are above 8%.   Entwhistle's leadership is questionable.  Every time you see a analyst reviewing the stock price down is direct reflection of his leadership.  To show he is competient he needs to do the following.  1.) Conversely the dividend is at 8% only because the s/p has tanked, & not because of anything company specific. The market cap destruction for the telecom sector is astonishing;  as if all these companies are going the way of Yellow Pages, as when GOOG burst upon the scene with its search engine. I remember the days pre GOOG, when the only search engine around was from Open Text for the OED

I disagree on that because if they had taken more conservative approach to managing the company the Share price wouldn't have tanked. In fact it would have gone up.  This is direct mismangement.  Cell phone use has only increased exponentially with Tik Tok and the likes of application software.   Seeing my oldest son adapt to it as an early teen shows me that this

From my perspective Telecomminications is canabilizing other preexisting businesses   Movie business is one for sure.   Where is i used to drive every more 2 hours round trip communte with all the gas, parking and wear and tear on my vehicle.  1000 a month.  So my gas consumption is way down. I don't pay for parking anymore and my vehicle barely gets 10k in

Almost everyone is under water. Year low is $19.10 so i think i;ll wat until next week to check out whether it is worth averaging down. GLTA
