TCN vs HOM.UN

Q: Is TCN or HOM.UN a better buy at this time? Which has better growth prospects in the near and medium term? Which has a cheaper valuation and are their valuations reasonable for REITs? Are their debt levels reasonable?

TCN is not set up as a REIT and we see it as having more growth potential. It is 10X earnings, vs 38X cash flow on HOM, so much cheaper. HOM is expensive vs the REIT sector but its debt ratio is 43%, which is very decent for the sector. TCN's debt to capital is higher at 60%, but TCN's business is a bit better with faster turnover of assets.

Disclosure: I own them both (although more of TCN). GLTA
