It's not too early to condsider how many wells will be required to supply the natural gas required. Phase 1 start up is supposed to be in 2025. But the wells will have to be drilled by the end of 2024.
And not only the wells but all the collection and processing facilities to deliver the gas to the pipeline at specitication. A very good well in the Montney, BCs primary natural gas basin, is less than 10 Mscfpd ( million standard cubic fee per day. LNG Canada capacity is 1,800 Mscfd, or about 180 wells need to be drilled in the next 2 years. And they all need fracking.

Fun facts

BC produces 5.5 Bscfpd, there are app 10,500 producing wells
therefore the average well production is only 0.52 Msfpd.
Most of the wells were drilled before fracking took over in 2010 or so.
Plus a lot of them have been on line for up to 30 years.

Coastal Gas Link - from $6B to $21B......this will never get built. It's was almost terminated on the last price increase. Comical beyond belief hahah...hopefully the project is not another state welfare like trans mountain.   This is so hilarious it's like Canada a 4ty world country LOL.
