Still, despite a cautious view, National Bank on Thursday upgraded TD to sector perform from underperform considering the regulatory fine provision "clears the deck" for potential CEO succession, which could include an external candidate. Also, National expects street estimates to be cut closer to its 2025 estimate, which is 6% below pre-Q3 2024 consensus. But despite the upgrade, National "would still position TD in the bottom half of our bank pecking order, especially over the longer term, as TD's relative growth may trail peers."

TD has had a lot of front runners leave because of Masrani's unwillingness to let go of the reins so thier bench steengh is not developed yet but you may see this lady as a front runner for his job.As a CFO she has the smarts to run a very big bank who has very seldom run afoul of regulators and was the CFO when they purchased HSBC in Canada and consolidated the operations seamlessly.and her ...more

if that happens i would be quite happy. all the dedication and years spend by Nadine - just nonsense by royal. pretty sure their CEO had something to do with it and just ridiculous behaviour on his part by counter suing. sure defend but its outrageous behaviour by countersuing. you have to realize that the lady is upset. The guy is literally vindictive

  tell that to the guy who she fired for questioning her beau's raise..... The emails and texts make for an entertaining read.  Best if any appointment is squeaky clean.   Hope you took advantage of the dip.
