The threat of a recession was there before today and will be there in the coming weeks. Today was a specific major drop in both North American markets... Let's hope it was only a short term thing... Something like this happened before the previous rate hikes and then things settled down.

Fundamentals haven't changed for Teck. I suspect algorithm selling, margin calls and profit taking were clearly present in todays trading. As you suggested, I too hope it's a short term event. GLTA.
