Its Carmen de Andacollo is located in the Coquimbo Region of central Chile at an elevation of 1,000 meters, approximately 350 kilometers north of Santiago. Its Galore Creek is located within the territory of the Tahltan in northwestern British Columbia, approximately 150 kilometers northwest of Stewart.

Analyst views on Teck- 9 strong buys, 2 moderate buys, 4 holds. Overall view is positive, however need to have some balance on this. Analysts can be wrong. Important thing is to look at long term trends and pricing for copper and coal (shorter term given potential sale), There is considerable long term value in Teck's core assets.
