Timbercreek Financial Corp is a Canada-based non-bank, commercial real estate lender providing shorter-duration, structured financing solutions to commercial real estate investors. The Company is focused on providing structured financing solutions to real estate owners and investors and acts as an alternative asset class investment manager. The investment objective of the Company is to secure...
and grow a diversified portfolio of mortgage and other loan investments, generating an attractive risk-adjusted return and monthly dividend payments to shareholders, balanced by a strong focus on capital preservation. The Company focuses primarily on lending against income-producing real estate such as multi-residential, retail and office properties. It fulfills a financing requirement that is not well serviced by the commercial banks: primarily shorter duration, structured financing. It works with borrowers throughout the terms of their mortgages to ensure that their capital requirements are met.

New Analyst report on Timbercreek Financial!
Timbercreek Financial
is the largest Mortgage Investment Corporation in Canada.
Some highlights of the company:
• Its revenue for Q3 was up 36% YoY! TF has been able to raise its lending rates quickly, as 90%+ of its mortgages are floating rates.
• Loan advancements were down 50% YoY due to raising rates, dampened real estate transactions/activities, and a softening economy. However, repayments were down as well (down 83% YoY), driving mortgage outstanding higher by 2% to $1.26B.
• Analysts believe alternative lenders, such as TF, should be able to grow their loan portfolios, amid lower repayments and new loan requests from borrowers unable to qualify with traditional lenders.
• TF's Q3 EPS was up 30% YoY, beating analysts' estimates by 2%
