Very strange i see no news to explain the sudden dumping..... fuel costs affecting the bottom line?

It's becomming clear that there's a recession coming and transports are the first to suffer. They also are the first to recover. I would hazard a guess that the coming recession will be short because the economy/consumer is so strong. But gas prices, inflation, rising rates will prove to be too negative. If I had to guess on timing, I'd say two rate increases should be enough to tip it ...more

Q: Transports getting hit today. Do you see this as a trend for money flowing out of transports over next while? US broker Stephens came out today with very negative comments, and the trucking sector has fallen the most in a year. Most of the comments relate to macro issues (rates, inflation, oil). The sector is of course highly sensitive to the economy, but these factors are widely known ...more
