I asked an experienced investor, "Isn't the ruling against Acacia unprecedented and scary? Who could have expected that? Where else could that happen?"

His response was my title, and he said also: "That's why African explorers and producers are so heavily discounted......country risk."


Do you feel more comfortable having a highly connected billionaire like Mimran owning so many shares of TGZ?

But -- who is more highly connected than Barrick Gold? A strange situation I haven't much looked into. If you have anything to add, do so.

What I don't understand is "what the F.... are you still doing here....You sold all your holdings I believe... You keep coming back to run down this company......and tear it apart.... It's like your worried you sold at the bottom...which you did...and it will tear you to pieces  if it's successful... Ya,sure anything can happen...it can even happen to your beloved Alio which ...more

tanzania (east coast) is nothing like west africa.  west africa are the best governed and most stable countries in africa. east africa is a mess.
