CIDY vs THTX..

why the management of CYDY succeeded in giving a capitalization of 3 billion to its company, and that of THTX failed yet THTX has better baggage ..! ?? change the name of the company or sell it to a big pharma you are unable to go it alone, it's amazing what happens in MS, even if we don't take into consideration cancer and NASH just with trogarzo and egrifta we are entitled to a few green days, right? The SP will back to 1.5$ soon..
Comment by SPCEO1 on Dec 18, 2020 2:39pm
Don't let some tax loss selling get you to down as it is temporary. And 2021 could be an absolutely outstanding year for THTX. If you been in the stock a while like many of us, the worst thing you could do now would be to let the trend over the last week get to you too much, causing you to abandon the ship, and then miss out on what 2021 likely holds for shareholders. NASH alone is a very big ...more

Well THTX apparently doesn't want to be CYDY. As a shareholder of Theratechnologies for almost a decade one has to be extremely thick skinned to stay loyal to this company. So why not try to return the favour by being shareholder friendly? why the valuation is nothing close to comparable companies? It is about lack of credibility and past failures that's why I believe not announcing the ...more

Paul seems like a talented CEO so I really do not want to see him go to jail, which is likely what would happen if he followed in CYDY's footsteps. It seems to me that it can only be a matter of time before CYDY decends into a pile of lawsuits and its CEO is escorted off the company premises in handcuffs. THTX holds itself out to investors in a super-professional, conservative manner. It is ...more

Tax loss selling, jesus your are so backwards its unreal.  Take a long look at the long term chart its lower lows.  When will you ever get a clue?

Cytodyn almost 6$ surging once again in the past 72hrs for what? How do they have more credibility than Thtx
Comment by SPCEO1 on Dec 21, 2020 12:01pm
They have managed to produce "credibility" with uninformed retail investors and there are plenty of those types of nvestors right now as we are likely at the peak of a speculative frenzy where such crazy things happen alot. It is basically nuts but the market loses its mind like this every 20 years or so.
Comment by Wino115 on Dec 21, 2020 1:50pm
I recall the Citron Research guys wrote up a very convincing short report and the share crashed 40%, but then they withdrew it presumably because of a threatening lawsuit or maybe it hit their "short cover" price. I read it and it went through the case well and documents their inflated claims well.   But I would think with all the miraculous claims they make for their one drug ...more

Why don't those dumb investors come over here lol

THTX is not even on the card, we can not even see it, and this problem will persist .. that's how there are a lot of good companies that have potential but are not lucky .. the market doesn't like them ..
Comment by Adonis on Dec 21, 2020 3:07pm
I want just to know who selling at this price..!??
Comment by Bucknelly21 on Dec 21, 2020 3:15pm
Who cares anymore honestly this company needs a massive shift in the way they conduct business
Comment by Wino115 on Dec 21, 2020 4:07pm
It's been said many times here, but they have been relegated to "Prove It" territory, so we need solid fundamental developments to underpin valuation.  That should get it moving the right direction.   Definitely tax selling.  I had some small below market orders at $2.10 that got hit toward end of day.  A lot of times, they alot a certain number of shares a day ...more

Remember, they got tesamorelin approved, but failed to get substantial profit out of it, either alone or with Serono, so they were a prove it company when they acquired the right to ibalizumab. After approval I thought it was the proof of a succesful company. I made a mistake. It was a scientific success, but again, a commercial failure.  So I agree we are back in the prove it zone, but I ...more

I fully agree the bar is higher since the commercialized drugs so far didn't materialize supposed to what everyone was expecting but their R&D track record has been much better. Also the market for lipodystrophy and HIV1 MDR is nothing close to general NASH and PDC so any progress in those programs should have a meaningful impact on the valuation. We are talking about multi billion dollar ...more
Comment by scarlet1967 on Dec 21, 2020 8:05pm
The market ascribed almost a billion dollars  market value to THTX based on Trogarzo capturing some %25 of a market with twenty thousands patients even with a admittedly high priced tag couple of years ago. Now apply whatever discount to a pen injector vs orally administered drug for an up and running phase 3 even phase 2b/3 NASH program for a potential multi billion market with no ...more

I've used the analogy before, but the confidence interval around a "fair" valuation is a good model of how the market can work in the absence of an anchoring value. Right now, to me it's probably fairly valued for the long term cash flow growth of the two commercial drugs.  Maybe a  bit undervalued if full Europe comes in and IV Push, etc...  But it's fairly ...more

As we have all watched numerous "catalyst" events (sometimes as many as 8-10 upcoming events ...anyone want to go back and look at all the lists posted here 18 months ago? ) come and go with no movement in the stock price, I was hoping this next one ... acceptance of the IND ...  would be the one.  But these recent posts seem to be already making excuses of why the stock won ...more

All I can say is cytodyn is almost at a 4 billion market cap. At least anyone of there investors that got in at .50 is extremely happy. Meanwhile in Thtx town. We are always looking 3 months down the road. They may be scummy but at least they are making someone some money
Comment by SPCEO1 on Dec 22, 2020 11:26am
I have working in the investment profession for over 40 years and I would suggest that, in the end, unless you are extremely lucky, it is almost always better to let others try their luck on stocks like CYDY. What seems alluring today can vanish tomorrow and without warning. TH is a decent company that has made a lot of progress in the past couple of years trying to do things the right way. In the ...more
