Tanguay

A lot of venting on this board, rehashing the same complaints, also a lot of people here that think they would do a much better job than the bord and management. For many Tanguay was the problem. Levesque his on its way to become the new problem for the same people. Remember, Tanguay was basically a finance guy. He made all the previous financings in the history of the company, and after 26 years of him doing that, the company was only at 77 M shares outstanding through all the highs and lows. So, clearly, Tanguay was careful and not strong on dilution. Many here were happy to see him leave, so sometimes you need be careful what you wish for. The same Tanguay bought back the rights to Egrifta, made the Trogarzo deal, the Katana deal, and supplied the drug for free to Grinspoon that led the company into NASH. So basically, all the assets that Thera has right now were acquired under Tanguay, the finance guy. A few months after he left, you got this huge dilution. Do you see a link?...

I am not pretending that Tanguay was perfect. He was not able to get good sales results, either for Egrifta or Trogarzo. There are reasons for that, not all his fault. But still, he was great on the finance side and on the deal making side. He was also blamed here as being unable to promote the stock. We see now that probably it was the stock that was unpromotable because of the long history of the company.

Great post JFM, glad that you continued on my yesterday little note on Tanguay to show how this board lost it in the last couple of days...... Your right on..... The future is great for this company. Glad your back in, FTV.

Is Tanguay your brother in law? I dont know anyone in the entire world exce0pt you who would rather have Tanguay at the helm rather than Levesque

Any stock is promotable although sore subject just look at CYDY their stock was trade between 0.30and 0.70 cents most of 2019 so the market didn't ascribe decent valuation to the company due to "long history of the company" yet in June 2020 the stock reached the all time high of $10 US vs 0.30 cents in October 2019 some 8 months later more than 30 fold appreciation! Why, because they ...more

You confirm what I said. Some here think they would do a much better job than the board or management.

Paul has been great whenever he presented the company but there is the issue with chasing institutions only and no efforts addressing the street, hopefully he realizes soon THTX is a small relatively unknown company and he adjusts his marketing strategy but he is also surrounded by bunch of conservative board members which are stuck with their wrong approaches.

Single most disappointing thing of all of this is that Thtx was unable to take advantage of a massive bull market. Every company and their mom has massive inflated evaluations and Thtx just got left in the dust. No one would have been upset my this deal nearly as much if they had

Btw where is the demand for these shares after this deal? Back to poor volume

The question will be, did that offering introduce a compelling idea via the brokers to some smart-money clients who will build and take advantage of possible success and low value versus many comps, or will all those shares just get blown back in to the market because there were a lot of short term flippers in it, clients just listening to brokers and not really doing any due dilly -- in essence ...more

Why would smart money invest?  How do you attract smart money or the big boys with a deal like this?  It is not as if this deal made management look particularly competent.  Or that management has the ability to market the company to investors.  If they had that ability then the deal would have been done at a higher price.

When I listened to Paul in the last conference I heard a passionated CEO in a very convincing manner presenting all aspects of the company and really believing in the prospects of both commercial and R&D programs so he definitely has the skills to promote the company question is who else was listening apart from few already shareholders, point is they need to increase the audience so their ...more
