Theratechnologies Inc > TH is dead money

TH is dead money

There is no reason to own TH at this price.  There is a major bull market in every stock not named Theratechnologies.  You've seen again in today's trading the effects of the disastrous financing deal. Take your TH money and go make a profit anywhere else. If you believe in TH long-term put a buy order in around 3.80-3.90 and hope things improve once the 14M shares are churned through.

Yep take the money out and invest in other overbought companies and loose your money, all the time frames for the oncology platform predicted here from the first results will be FAST TRACKED!

I bought Aphria a couple years ago at one point I was down 80k, yesterday I sold my position with over 300 k profit( although I wish I would have sold today since it has gained some %25 since my exit price) but the sector is volatile and with two other cannabis companies reporting their earnings this week I didn't want to wait. The reason I hanged on was purely this company was EBITDA positive ...more

Such a clueless thing to say, if you'll pardon me.Please educate yourself on early Oncology potential, go read about EPIX for instance. Canadian Oncology company in mCRPC, a ten bagger in about 15 months, from promising pre-clinicals to mid phase I. You think they have published any human results yet? Well think again.
Comment by Wino115 on Feb 09, 2021 1:24pm
In fact, the percentage gains tend to be largest capturing the Phase 1 to in to Phase 2.  Immunomedics went up 4x between start of Phase 1 and 2.

Yes, some folks here are great at discounting this company's valuation based on holes, time line etc when the problem with valuation is... The company can't solve the problem with same thinking they used when they created the problem.
Comment by jfm1330 on Feb 09, 2021 1:59pm
Yes, some folks here are great at pretending that Thera is an unknown company and that is why it is, in their opinion, undervalued. Maybe it is undervalued, in fact I think it is, but it's not because the company and its activities are unknown. I tried to explain why here many times. I won't do it again.
Comment by scarlet1967 on Feb 09, 2021 2:07pm
I was asked on Stocktwits from a share holder whether the company reverse fibrosis or not? Shareholder there are asking what NASH means? Shareholders there ask where they can find company's investor presentation on the website and when the find it they can't understand it? Other comparable companies have much higher followers on Twitter, Stocktwits, yahoo finance chat sector and even on ...more
Comment by jfm1330 on Feb 09, 2021 2:25pm
There is enough on Thera's website to know what the company is doing and to understand the general principles behind their clinical programs. Sorry, but if you don't have the proper scientific background, more advanced scientific explainations won't be understandable. I don't want to look more intelligent than anybody by saying that, it is just a matter of mastering enough ...more
Comment by scarlet1967 on Feb 09, 2021 2:37pm
That is my exact point we don't need more advanced science we need people to understand it and understand the financial of it so they invest in it. Not every retail investors have scientific background yet companies like Intercept and CYDY have managed to convince and educate their investors with inferior products  this was  one of my main arguments with Leah and she sort of agreed ...more
Comment by jfm1330 on Feb 09, 2021 2:56pm
You said it, convinced, but how? CYDY did not educated any investor, they simply BSed them. They pumped their monoclonal antibody like crazy for everything without any proof of anything of commercial value. It is like this thing is a cure all miracle. Hard to understand so many people are putting so much money in it. But it is the USA... Their best case scenario is to be approved for MDR HIV after ...more
Comment by SPCEO1 on Feb 09, 2021 3:39pm
The situation with CYDY pretty much invalidates your position that a company needs to have dat, etc., in order for the stock to be valued fairly. And it's not just CYDY, there are many, many less exreme examples of companies that have far less than THTX yet are valued at much higher levels. It may be crazy, but it is what is going on right now in this bubble. The oddity is that it is not ...more

The next time you will talk to Levesque and Dubuc, ask them why they are not exposing themselves legally by making exagerated or bogus claims to push the SP higher?
Comment by Bucknelly21 on Feb 09, 2021 7:43pm
Jfm I see your point but there is a difference between pumping bogus info and fighting for a fail valuation
Comment by Bucknelly21 on Feb 09, 2021 8:13pm

Comment by SPCEO1 on Feb 09, 2021 8:52pm
Still working through the stages of grief so no plans to speak with them right now. It is hard to see how we would have a productive conversation. While CYDY's CEO likely does need to spend some time in jail, that is not true for the literally hundreds of other small stocks that have far less to offer investors than does TH yet trade at signicantly higher value. Hopefully, they are finally ...more

That being said, I am totally in favor of improving the website and making more info easily available, like scientific papers, archiving webcasts of presentations, etc... My point is that I just don't think it will make the difference on the stock price. Most small investors in thechnology stocks rely on percieved credibility and odds of success. It comes from outside validation and momentum ...more

Ok this is my last post on this subject as I am now definitely TH is dead money subject fatigue, perceived credibility has to be earned and odds of success has to be in a convincing manner explained.

All what some are trying to say is this: - If your communication strategy is working but could be improved, you must admit that and improve asap. Do not auto-congradulate yourself. Be hungry. - If you know that SP is undervaluated knowing time will prove it, you must not wait and act asap. Be hungry. - If you succeed but you could have succeed faster, you can bring this up as a partial fail or ...more

I sensed some of that in Levesque's original day 1 plan of review for 60/90 days, set realistic goals, hit them.  If not, reassess to get the right people and strategy in house. We saw that with Jovan for sales, now time to assess this further in finance and IR.  Let's hope they are not hungry for Cheetos...

Eating cr*p like Cheetos is what is leading so many people with NAFLD and NASH...

Yes. The stuff someone posted on fructose was very good reporting about it's dangers. I now look at every label. It's used way too much.  Another reason for all the obesity one sees.  Scary, since that will never be controlled through regulations (given the farmer lobby) and it relies on a public that knows good from bad eating habits. They certainly don't down here. The one ...more

That's the bottom line in all this, you don't know, you think. It's not a matter of knowing or a matter of real facts, it's a matter of thinking about the potential, hence of opinion. I think they are undervaluated based on what I think will happen, but it's only my opinion, or my guess, maybe an educated guess at best, but still a guess. The thing is that it is also the ...more

While there is a lot of opinion involved, there are also facts, the biggest of which is the fact that the FDA has granted TH the right to do a phase III trial and there are factual comparisons to others in the same situation. Even applying a large discount to TH, it stock still has no value in it for NASH. Management can and should apply themselves to closing thst huge gap. In fact, they should ...more

That's why I said to buy back in just under $4. The stock price is going nowhere soon until they clear out the sellers from the financing. Every time it trades above $3.50 it gets sold right back down. So you lose $0.30 or $.40 getting back in. At least your money can be making something in the meantime. It's 6-9 months minimum before any oncology news could possibly start leaking out ...more
