It is just about 11AM and about 1,000 shares have traded

TH just had a KOL with the highest profile NASH speakers possible and also had a presentation to a broker conference on monday (granted, no one but us probably listened to that one). Hopefully, some alarm bells are going off in TH's boardroom.

Absolutely pathetic
Comment by AMoschitto on Sep 15, 2021 11:47am
I have to believe that they know they should have PR-ed both of those conferences to a wider audience and it was a mistake not to, that could have been fixed in the run up to the events.  Im starting to wonder if there's any good reason at all they want to stay under the radar? assuming good faith and general competence on their part... why would it be good to be less engaged in this ...more

We can search for explanations but nothing rings true. TH has just found a way to get people to ignore them. They have some really interesting things going on but the credibility issue is evidently at the core of it. Investors are not being told to listen very well and even those that do listen are not finding a need to respond to what they hear. The KOL even got Qwerty to come on board with the ...more

Also, I am finding it increasingly difficult to stomach the $2 million plus we have been paying our CEO annually while getting these results in the capital markets. Operationally, he seems to have done pretty well but there is no way the same claim can be made with regards to how he is managing the company's relationship with investors. And it really doesn't matter much if he is good at ...more

What else do you want him to do? There are limits to what a CEO can legally do to bring in investors. I wrote here many times why Thera is not an appealing company to most investors. I will not rewrite it once more, but since this board went crazy with this promotion thing, nothing has changed. The last time this stock eas hot, it was after a very positive news, FDA approval of Trogarzo, and some ...more

A little more geographical diversity amonst their ranks and moving HQ outside of Quebec.  Then they might actually look like a legitimate company.

Here we go again. Always this underlying thought, almost racist. If they have really great results in oncology you will see that the location of the company won't matter. That being said, it's probably true that the fact that Thera is based in Montreal with science mostly developed in Montreal by French-Canadian scientists is not helping the perception in the rest of North America. It is ...more

I think you're taking the word promotional far to literally I think what everybody is saying is talk about your programs if you truly have confidence in them about what you're seeing without saying this is the end I'll be all resort no one saying lie or fluff everything, People are saying buy shares as board members and employees when you're available to if you truly have ...more

In order to give retail marketing a try they need to make fundamental changes to their messaging for instance some 5 months since the start of the oncology open label trial they never informed the investors when a new clinic started enrolling patients all we know for now is its still ongoing and that's all. As for NASH the whole process started with withholding information and a big U turn and ...more

Trillium went from 30c to $20 over 12 months and daily vol from 1 mil to 30 mil. None of it on a change in it's messaging. Most of it on the fortune of it's cancer target, CD47, going from unloved to hot and it's own clinical progress. It got bought out 6 months later for $2.3 bil. Trillium and CD 47 had been hot prior to the 30c period, it wasn't obvious they would get out of ...more

I don't know the Trillium story but taking a glance at it quickly, I see it has 8 analysts covering it, several of them US. So, a Canadian drug company can get interest from US analysts. These are not top analysts in the US but at least Trillium has engage analysts. TH really only has three analysts covering it and only one is currently really paying attention to it. This is largely because of ...more

I agree 100% this is insanity. As I said before I think large shareholders made a mistake by not voting off some of the board. Wino received the appeasement speech nothing more. The "things will change" speech and "we are in process of changing things". Did anything really change? And maybe one board member would not have made a difference but it could have at least begun to ...more

Yep, one can only hope that once they start talking about the oncology pipeline, there's enough hard facts from 1a and 1b that exceitement builds for Phase 2 and accellerated approval, etc... Will eight analysts cover it?  I sort of doubt it given the burned bridges.  But if they can just get 1-3 decent analysts who value the whole enchilada it would be worth it.  I'd still ...more

Of the there things that could have moved the stock, all are still in play to one extent or another. On the sales of the legacy drugs, I don't have a ton of hope but Egrifta sales have been slowly perking up and that is by far the most profitable of their two approved drugs. Maybe once they get the pen injector and F8 going in lipo, we might see something more substantial take shape with lipo ...more

SPCEO It seems that you have a newly acquired short fuse since the fundamental investing thesis of the company has never looked so promising Complaining about the CEO s salary seem to be out of character for you,, Take a breather!!!

CYDY is a fraudulent company that found its way into the crazy US penny stocks market. By chance, Thera is the opposite of that. What is so hard to accept in the idea that it will only move on real positive news? Not on potential, not on promises, not on hype, only on real positive facts. If you don't believe in the company, sell and move on. If you believe they have something, then wait for ...more

I think it's been made very clear why.   1. We have real positive news with hopefully more positive continued affirmation of that positive news to compound into even better news still yet to come. 2. The company isn't matching it's peers in terms of valuation and no one seems to recognize the arbitrage opportunity that exist today. 3. The ATM will become a further limiting ...more

There is no real positive news. Only talks about great potential, but no hard facts. Thera will not convince many investors without hard facts, very positive facts. We are not talking about a company with a good track record when it comes to value creation. In more than 25 years they did not create much value. Their biggest achievment was to survive all that time without too much dilution without ...more
