My opinion

I am not a scientist and I don't care about the science per say. I care about the money I have invested in this company when the share was at  $15. I am still above 6$ a share in average . TH executives have no clue about the shareholders Return Of Investment. I see some of you trying to justify Paul's and the board attitudes. Those are  a gang of losers not business men.
Comment by CreatingApe on Oct 03, 2021 12:32pm
then sell your shares. And you are invested in a biotech and you dont care about the science? Lol
Comment by Momo25 on Oct 04, 2021 3:33am
First of all, When I decide to sell my shares, I will not ask for your permission. Secund, I am here to make money not to Learn about gene expression. third, if you don't know, biotechnology is one of the sector where people are making money, a lot of money except when investing in theratechnogies. Fourth, You are the ones who encourage the board in this silly attitude where communication ...more

its fascinating you are still invested in a company where you don't care about the science and you believe the CEO is a loser and not a businessman. Also I WILL tell you when to sell your shares momo. Lol PS go read spceo's post again, he literally said just that. The SP increase since paul took over looks great but he also began right about when the market was bottoming from the pandemic. ...more

You probably need to switch to US ticker, lot more action there.

Even if results are good I bet Thtx will announce it right in the middle of a big market correction
Comment by SPCEO1 on Oct 04, 2021 1:41pm
If the results are good, it probably would only limit somewhat the reaction. Good cancer results get people's attention, as they should.

Hate to share this. Clearly these drugs are nothing to get excited about (same family of drugs as OBA) but could NASH sound any less appealing? "Cracking NASH has been the holy grail for years in liver drug development, but the field has so far proven a wasteland for biotech. One biotech is now offloading in-house clinical work for ...more

On a brighter note. Cancer deal. "With a recent approval for lung cancer bispecific amivantamab, J&J is looking to build a franchise in that space with a growing crop of drugs in the pipeline. The drug giant has now tapped a familiar partner to drive that work ahead, and the pair is go ...more

Enhurtu. Must be putting pressure on all those breast cancer only drug developers. Hopefully we get breast+another. The extension of PFS to 27 months is impressive.  This is 2L and HER2+ breast cancer is about 20% of cases. Great news for patients.  It seems it's becoming the standard for HER2+. Given the targeting issues, I guess Enhertu will only work for the HER2+ subset so may not be useful for THTX to attach for all solid tumors in 4L setting.  But those numbers would be something to ...more

That's true. Just her2+ so tnbc is unaffected. There are an awful lot of ADC developers that are using trastuzumab as their antibody, they will be competing with Enhurtu, makes their prospects more difficult. I guess it could cause a shake up or shake out in the sector, maybe there will be more interest in other target. (Sortilin anybody???). It would be interesting to see if they start ...more

Can you tell me what the ROI has been since Paul became CEO?
Comment by SPCEO1 on Oct 03, 2021 9:34pm
I beleive Paul formally started at TH on 4/1/20, which of course was right after the market bottomed in the pandemic scare. The stock price closed at US$1.58 on 4/1/20 so the stock is now up 138% since then. But clearly, Paul got a lucky break in that starting point and the recovery in the stock priceis not something he get full credit for. Still, he should get considerable credit.

When i feel frustrated, i just do literature survey to see if there's any interesting paper is published. I have read literally all of the literature related to cancer/SORT1 and NASH (Only 18 articles since 2000). That convinced me to hold the shares tightly again and again. BTW, Paul will attend the China Biotech forum today, so i believe he will bring us a good news regarding the partnership ...more

Investing in biotechnologies is close to be like investigating in minings. It is a very speculative investment. As a "wise" and "smart" invester we should not be frustrated if investing in biotechnologies since we should be investing a very low percentage of our money in this risky industry. So, if you are frustrated, it just mean that you had invested to much of your money. Am ...more
