Here's a Toronto Biopharma company that jumped on good news on testing alone, anyone have a take on how this may have and effect on us based on their tech? Or maybe reflect positively on the Canadian biopharma sector? Excuse my ignorance but it occurred  to me that maybe people will now be looking for the next Biopharma pending good Cancer news.

SBFM is totally a retail thing (coupled with other brokers, algos no doubt taking advantage of those retial investors) as best I can tell. And as you can tell, that has some benefits, like when you announce pre-clincial news that sounds interesting, your stock rises by 148% and it trades 154 million shares. Maybe what they a nnounced today will one day translate into something important but it is

Maybe th should sell HIV business for like 150m and buy a couple of coumpounds and rebrand the company.  We see that pipe dreams do better than growing sales by 10% at Thera. Th is a crashes and burned company with one way out for actual investors.. th1902.

Because investors are so crazy, that actually likely would lead to a better stock price even if it technically destroyed company value in the process (it is unlikely you would be able to sell the HIV business for top dollar and it is equally unlikely that you would be able to buy anything worthwhile on the cheap).

They have a market cap of $40mil. So if we value everything in that company at zero do we put the value on good retail engagement at $40 mil?

As I noted, everything about SBFM's stock price is kind of ridiculous and is reflective of the bubble not yet being totally popped. Essentially, you have a lot of people wildly speculating on the stock and I suspect many of them actually know they are participating in a bunch of nonsense. But it is profitable nonsense for someone, so it happens. There is no/little connection to reality with

The problem we have as Th shareholders is that when disturbing events like this one occurs out of the blue it should be viewed as an opportunity by some market players like Soleus.  Because of their communication and self esteem problems we are sitting ducks between now and some game changer events.  They actually beleive Thera is a 3$ company since they were willing to do a financing at
