Just a friendly reminder as Canada energy and energy services companies attract more and more international interest and suitors (Celtic is the latest example with XOM, PRQ and Petronas, NXY and CNOOC etc.)
FES.TO (Flint) was acquired by the US-based URS in early 2012.
FES.TO had a stockholder equity of $567M as of Dec 2011 (check SEDAR.COM) and URS paid 1,5 Billion EV thus pbv=3 for it.

The US-based FMC Technologies acquired PSV.TO few months ago paying pbv=2.
PSV.TO had a stockholder equity equal to $144 M as of June 2012 and FMC paid $282M.
Thus If TID was acquired tomorrow, the suitor should pay from C$2 - C$3.
TID will definitely be sold one day if you read the resumes both of the veteran President (founder of TID) Mr Dawson and the CEO. The President has created and sold 3 companies thus far. I just do not know when....
