How the retail investor ignores the facts and sells
Walter said that after the deal with Maurel, TID does not face any problem and does not have any gun at the head. Who reads these days ? NONE.
For use, the retail investors can not read the facts. They buy when a stock rises and sell when a stock drops.
The retail investor and the momentum traders sell TID now WITHOUT knowing why they sell.
They sell because the others sell.
The thing is that TID is fundamentally better than before Maurel deal.
How lower can it go ? 3 cents ? What do you get with 3 cents ? The retail investor does not care. He is so clueless that he wants to come out....
Another fact is that the Chairman has bought 13 million shares at C$60 cents.
Walter has 37 million shares at 53 cents.
The retail investor does not care. His ignorance makes him extremely blind.
But the retail investor is negatively influenced by the negative momentum and sells because the other retail investors sell too.
He can not wait, he want news right here right now. As long as he does not get the news, he sells.
But Walter is not a day trader. He does not care for these daily trades.

I'm trying to stay positive here but why would CICB recommend to sell TID, never mind the retail investor!!??

The emotional sellers are many. They imitate the others, they do what the others are doing. This is the easiest thing to do.
