Confused - difference between U and UN

Hi all,

I participated in the IPO for these shares and I'm confused as to why my brokerage account for this stock is BITC.U.TO versus what is here BITC.UN, is the difference just the price in American versus Canadain dollars?

Hi Alpha, you are correct. BITC.U is in US funds so traded end of day Friday at $10.08 vs BITC.UN which is in Canadian funds traded end of day Friday at $12.90. Volume seems to favour BITC.U which was over 210,000 volume vs. 172,000 for BITC.UN. So anything you see with a 'U' after it trades in US funds on the TSX.
