Countries r looking to spead up energy transfer from fossil fuel. U.n. secretary says it is now emergency. 

I wonder if they need copper to do that:))??

Electric autos are coming much faster... end of 2020 approx 10 million vehicles total worldwide There are 10s of millions of charging stations to be built...worldwide Full electric Semi's + charging stations will also be coming very fast ...worldwide Full electric buses + charging stations  already started and will accelerate...worldwide And then all this added electric demand will ...more

You are correct about more energy needed.  But renewables will not do it.  i am in the industry.  Wind only works sometimes, some places.  Solar takes up too much room and does not generate enough under present technology.  Texas was working on this diligently serveral years ago and found out the interstructure would not hold up.  It will need a big upgrade and that ...more

Welcome aboard little. I would guess it is about balance. Currently the world wastes massive electricity when power usage gets dumped because of no sale. If grids had large battery banks that power could b stored and used. It is not because of battery cost. However, a plan is to reuse auto batteries that r half spent 4 that purpose. Solves the recycle prob 4 the batteries as well. That alone ...more
