Florence
I agree with miner on selling florence. Copper could easy b 4 or 5 u.s bucks by january. At 50 cad cents a pound insitiu value could b 1 billion.
That would give us 3.00 a share immediate. Ymi is at least 2 years away from mine construction start. Gib slams another billion to the bank.
We pay off the 300 million bond and have lots of cash for ymi build.

But what if we only get 500 million for florence. At least that is a 1 bag on what gib spent. I will take it!! nf

And what is there to stop someone from offering a premium right now to buy the whole thing? What would a hostile or friendly cost right now? $2.50 a share USD? Thats double the present market cap. I really do not know why someone would pay more for Florence than they would have to pay for the entire company.

Jc. Florence is 50% of tko value. Currently debt and mc run at about 700 million for gib. That is a big discount. So by january gib could cap at a billion. So I put flor at between 500 million and a billion. That is my math anyways. nf

All I know is that mgmt should be pumping this baby hard. They also need to make sure q4 looks really good. No unnecessary charge offs etc. This company manages to put cash in the bank while posting losses. The need a decent PE.

One could safely assume they are "pumping this baby hard" behind closed doors while making the deal. That is the most likely case.

Which part of 100M for 20% (25% tops) of Florence aren't you comprehending? THAT is what management has been saying from the beginning.

Why bother worrying about "Dreamworld" statements from others? Stick to what you know to be true and forget the noise. If you don't trust management you shouldn't invest in the company. Without doubt, the continual rise of copper prices only helps the deal.
