6 months old news, but a nice reminder. Also that mining .com carried the news was good advertising. The markets pulled back big yesterday. So tko at 1.66 is not bad. I am not selling or buying at that price. Tko cost to find copper is about 10 cad cents a pound historically. Going forward, it would b about 20 cents. So selling 500 million pounds or 25% of florence for less than 250 million ...more

Not old news, they are applying for another 12 month extension with the blessing of the first nation: But as the certificate came close to expiring, Taseko applied for an extension. It was given an extension until January 14, 2021, and talks between Taseko and the Tsilhqot’in were underway, until the covid-19 pandemic delayed the dialogue. So the company has applied for another extension ...more

I am sorry sf. Nf comepletely wrong. The dec 7 application was only good until jan 14 2020. This completely new agreement with fn cooperation. The environment program will cost 50 million. We never had that to spend on the bluff a couple years ago that they were going in. The 30 million peepee will help with that program. If the 30 million helps speed up np then it would have some merrit. With a ...more

This is huge news and it is new.  If the FN are supporting an extension, there must be a glimmer of hope and if there is that, then this stock will reflect it.  After all, the easiest thing for the tribe would be to ignore or even oppose the application.  Then NP would go away forever.  The tribe seems to not want it to go away for ever.   NP. Is the the huge ...more

I might try to reload a little.  I don't trade this stock, but I do not mind selling or buying depending on a changing outlook.

Someone needs to invent a robotic alternative to open pit mining.  Drill a shaft, send the robots down to bring out the ore, put the depleted stuff back into the same space where it came out.  It will be more expensive, but whoever invents it first will have the corner on the market and every government on earth will require it.   As much as I love mining, open pit mines are a ...more

Rusty is all over that idea. But first, he's trying to figure out the best ways to take care of his buddies. After that, he may figure out how to close the deal at Florence. He's on a specific time table ya know.

Not 6 months old. 6 weeks. They signed the extension request dec 7, 2020. The point is, that is good news and mining .com now carried it. nf
