Picture Yourself
At a concert of your favorite band, or, for you really old farts, at the opera. Think about your favorite song of said band, or, for you really old farts, your favorite operetic piece. One caveat though, the song must contain a crescendo section towards the end. Now, are you all with me? Right now, in April of 2021, Taseko is in the opening of your favorite song. The announcement of the final permit and ultimate JV deal brings you to the middle of that favorite tune of yours. Q2 and Q3 earnings reports (take notice, Q1 report doesn't do much...a brief lull in the song) brings you closer to your anticipated crescendo. Ahh, here it comes...the orgasmic end (think Free Bird guitar riff) in which we get the anticipated ending construction date at Florence and a quite favorable year end report. All the while through this awesome tune you have noticed Taseko's share price has hit the $3 US hurdle. You'll remeber this in-person concert forever. But wait! The audience is madly flicking their Bic lighters and shouting, "Encore, encore!" and out they come. Your favorite band trots out and starts again with yet another beaut of a song. In fact, you're not sure which one you like the best between the two. The encore starts at midnight of this New Year's Eve, leading you into a spectacular 2022! One in which we rinse, repeat and get those tickets for the 2022 performance. Can you picture this? If not, too bad because it's happening anyway...
