2021 expectations for TKO

Sounds like the consensus is for low expectations for Q1&Q2,,. Whats the reason for this, is it operations or grades?
What effect will 4.00 plus copper have on these first two quarters as well as results for the rest of 2021?

I am of the opinion that it is full year results that matter. 4.00 plus copper is covering a lot of sin. There should be nice ebitda q1 and 2 even though production a bit stinky. 2021 ebitda guess is 200 million. 10 times would be 2 billion sp. That would be 8.00 cad sp. Tko net debt is impressive at about 250 million cad. Tko extremely discounted because of trust issues. So lets say only a ...more

Gib will produce approx $200M this year and next, then Flo kicks in an additional $200M satring 2023. With relative steady state copper @ $4, tko should be completely debt free by mid 2023 and producing $400M ebitda / yaer.  If Yellow is ready to start const in 2024 they will have cash for half, so a loan and/or small jv and/or streams will get it built!  When Yellow is in production ...more

Hey Bruce Springsteen and the EStreet Band, the reasons for sub par Q1 & Q2 production reports will vary but the end result is what matters. Management has been quite clear in that the annual guided 125M of production will be back loaded towards H2. Taking them at their own word equates to lower Q1 & Q2 results. I believe them and thus don't expect decent results until then.

Thanks, was thinking more on the lines odf Easy Street , however not the case with this stock in some years,,. Surely the 4.25 copper will budge the numbers into some form of respectibilty,,. I always thought these guys hung around with CMMC, not lately "its" been a run away train by comparison?

Taseko is definitely an enigmatic company. Their peers, like CMMC, are going to be posting very impressive quarterly earnings reports in the first half of this year. As usual, nothing is easy with Taseko. Investors will be looking at peer reports and rightfully asking why something always seems to be keeping Taseko lagging the field. Unfortunately, this is going to continue during H1. Yes, copper ...more

Gib has been moving pits they are taking ore from, going through lower grades until 2nd half. To be a little fair to management, they have made some excellent pickups at great value over the last few years...Florence and Yellowhead.  Other than the absolutely brutal pp last fall, TKO has been pretty well positioned for these higher copper prices. And while everything takes a loooong time ...more
