Question

I used to have both Taseko and Copper mountian and got out a few years ago. I am back in with Taseko, why is there such a spread between them now.

Cause people don't know what Taseko means, but they know Copper Mountain sounds pretty awesome.  Sheep are dumb animals...

We will find out in one week when the earning come out. The miner that generates the most earnings will go up higher in share price thus rewarding the shareholders.Copper Mountain may generate enough cash to start building another mine.

Not totally on point. The overwhelming number of copper producers will outperform Taseko this quarter AND next. What does that ultimately mean? Pretty straight forward really. The other copper producers will far out surpass Taseko in the short term. Probably not so much after that. Taseko's peers are the short term play. Longer term? That's the question.

Taseko.    -.07 earnings copper Mounrain.   .17 earnings If you are getting into copper and doing a little research, which company is in better shape?  There is more to the Taseko story, but few are going to pay attention until they start posting positive earnings.   Why they don't is beyond me.  The bank account grows while they are supposedly losing money ...more
