Patience..please

you all know the timeline, first two quarters great, Florence permit end of H1, maybe early H2. No amount of navel gazing will change that. Chill, relax, get some popcorn, a beer or two. Cu will hold the price in range, maybe even get some nice drops, not often you have any this much advance notice on what the future holds. You have three to six months to gather any spare change you have, take massive advantage of near term price drops, most of the market is just looking at the day to day, look down the road. KW

You are so right KW. I backed the truck up under 1.00 and again under 1.50 thinkig I would rebalance as copper prices rose and Florence was permitted. The "shoot from the hip" PP changed everything. COVID has not been helpful either. Now TKO is a "show me story". While a Florence final permit will be helpful TKO will not realize true value based on the permit. TKO will have to ...more

Would I rather maintain 100% of Florence? Sure, but if they get favorable results from the deal, I'm open to see what they come up with. We maintain in a holding pattern until the draft permit ...more

And based on the past....do you actually believe management is going to run the terms of a jv past shareholders for approval?? Really?? You will NOT see what they come up with until it is done... and then it is to late my friend!

Make room in that boat!!

I disagree.  Including a JV on Florence could greatly help SP if the buy-in reflects something close to NPV on Florence.  It would get market recognition that 100% ownership might not. 100% ownership would mean more cash flow later, but the right JV might ge more share value now.

If we get true value for Florence and if the joint venture partner has the ability and desire to participate in a big way on future projects such as Yellowhead then I think OK.

And just for the record...do you believe we received true value for the pp last fall?  So why would you expect this jv to be somehow fair to current shareholders?
