This article is about all the commodities.  The craze is not going to go away.  China cannot stop it.  However, letting air out of this bubble is a very important thing.  It has gone up too quickly. Much better to let air out now, even if it is a little painful (not really). For those of us that have been in Taseko for year, this is just a cycle.  We are all doing much ...more

It seems like every few weeks China jawbones about cost of metals and prices fall back. Then the following week prices go back up. Perhaps the pullback in copper price and miners is similar to the price action around $4.50. I am not seeing an increase in warehouse copper levels. Yesterday as the TKO SP stopped dropping I added more shares. I am also holding CMMC and MIN. It is likely only a ...more

Good post but there's a world of difference between Florence and Gunnison.  The geology is entirely different. Florence will succeed but MIN could be sitting on a failed project with no hope of ever being viable.

Hope u do well with min. nb. They r trading 175 million mc and have been having troubles for a year. Still barely producing. Compared to flor??? They have about double reserves I believe. They predict to b processing 25 million pounds in about a year. If they can get there issues solved. Flor was the exact oposite. Test facility worked 4 times as good as modeled for over a year. No issues. They ...more

So lets hope min has some success and does reach 25 million pounds in a year or so and there sp doubles  to 300 million. That would be about the same time as flor intends on starting to produce 125 million. So 5 times 300 wouod give 1.5 billion value at todays copper prices. Nice to have a comparitive stock so close by. nf

Florence will succeed..it's been tested and they do not have the same geologic issues as Gunnison.  The geology at gunnison is limestone and carbonate host rock which is causing the wellfield to fizz when acid is introduced. Florence is not going to fizz as the underlying host rock is completely different. The only thing the two have in common is the word insitu....MIN did not build a ...more

You're spot on in regards to the US government not having a clue pertaining to strategic stockpiling of necessary "green" metals. You've got to give credit to Chinese leadership in this realm. They are strategic and cut throat in planning for the future, especially so in obtaining all green metals. They have dedicated teams tasked with this sole mission. The U.S.? Not so much ...more
