Is a guess. 5.00 cad copper going forward??? Quite cheap me thinks.

But lets use it. Lers say a taker pays 50 cad cents to secure 5.00 future.

So they get 600 million pounds copper for 250 million dollars at 250 million for 30%.  Less c1.

Wow. They got to b lined up!!!

Or maybe all bull poop.

Yep.  If you are in a business where copper is essential and your entire production would be shut down without it, and you can secure millions of pounds of copper per year for roughly $1 a pound,  you jump on it and pay handsomely for it.   I would think a 3 year return on the initial investment would be a steal, especially if it buys security for your business.  Gotta ...more
