Got a call from the brokerage yesterday

Hey Suns, just caught up with earlier posts. Had a laugh when I read this one of yours. I had the same experience from my brokerage on three different occasions. Remember back when our SP was soaring and Donald Trump came along and absolutely destroyed the copper and soybean market with China? Well just before that happened, my account had hit the seventh level of the six figure club, and I had three different brokers ask me, "How did you do it." Once I figured out that they wanted me to advise them I told them to make it a mission to find out everything possible re Taseko Mines.

Anyone can throw a fortune at a stock, but in a Trudeau TFSA, very limited investment allowed. Justin does not like the TFSA.One has to find leverage

I guess we are pretty good. I have surprised myself with my WEF warrant self designed strategy, and of course the Taseko re-emergence as a mining powerhouse. Saw that coming

I, too have had the experience lately. Got a call from Schwab a week ago wanting to set up a time to "introduce themselves." I suspect they are interested in my 150% one year gain in a dividend-heavy portfolio, primarly attributable to copper and other mining stocks. The call is tomorrow. Yeah.  I think my portfolio is up around 180% over last March and I am still 35% in cash.  I just believe enough in TGB and follow so closely that I am willing to put up with 10-20% pull backs.  Just gives me an occasion to buy more.  I am not as bold as NF to try to trade the cycles but I am not going to fret them either.  I do have one other big winner and that is ...more
