Do you think Stuart would have gone through with this if he was concerned about the EPA decision? True, it could be a contingent contract and yes, we could get delayed another three months by the dreadful lot BUT, any objective observer would see this for the great news it is

Much of the rise in infrastructure costs in the USA the last half century (EPA was founded in 1970) is down to the growth of NIMBYs and EPA powers. Often reasonable, often insane.

They may seem insane, but you have to remember, most of them are the result of legal proceedings and consent decrees, not science or cost-effectiveness metrics. No matter what regulation is proposed, no matter how reasonable, the agency gets sued by one side or the other, or both. For those being regulated, the cost of fighting something out in court and potentially delaying an operating expense ...more

You keep missing our point here. Nobody denies the need for the EPA and other regulating bodies. Most of us here have a good understanding of how they go about their business. The main issue we have is how the overall decision making process drags on, many times unnecessarily, thereby seriously effecting commerce for droves of companies. Take Florence for example...test facility process ...more

In the conversation I had with Brian Bergot just before the Q2 earnings report, he said that they would receive the Permit Documentation from the EPA BEFORE the permit is actually released.  I think he said it was 8 days that they would get to review the document, but I do not remember the exact number of days.  I can imagine that they might sign a contract like this if hey had already ...more

It looks like it is done. Stuart says they have done the deal with metso. I guess this was one of my 60% correct times:)) This equip is modular and so can be built at same time as groundwork and building shells are done. Drilling can start. The test plant can be used to start marinating the field. We should b in oh boy land:))

This could move fast. We could be hanging sheets by this time next year. So we will do the 85 million pound plant and with this tech can easily upsize if copper is needed.  Now, all u millionairs, please try to keep your humility. The good thing about this board is we r mostly older. Been through the school of hard knocks, so coins r not all that important to us. What is important is what u ...more
