Highlights.
Expect permit in 2-3 weeks, slipped and said 1-2 at one point.
JV still a small possibility for Florence but not likely.
No more than 10% and TKO is the driver's seat with any negotiations.
Pre-purchasing engineering and equipment for Florence now.
Engineering 70% finished.
18 month build.
50 million pound production in year 1.
85 million in year 2.
They have already seen the draft of the permit.  It has been making its way from one desk to another.  (This is not new, they have had it available for quite a while it sounds like)
45  day public comment period and then final draft.  Just like the state permit (what redundancy!)
Would not have done the PP last December if they had known copper prices were going to jump.

Upon listening to the latest presentation, one might feel fairly confident with those $2 call options. Don't be late to the dance.

Forgot to clarify.  BB was very specific.  18 months from the time construction begins until the first copper goes on the truck to ship.  So first injections will happen significantly earlier.

One must remember. When this is shipped, it is not con. It is pure cathode, ready for use. It will likely all b used in sw u.s. The point made about 4.00 copper being locked in for the next 9 months is big. Tko slambs cash to bank for 9 plus more months. 3rd q almost in. I believe it will b big. Cmmc is adding a 3rd ball mill. Tko is talking stuff like that. Hopefully they r drilling, to justify ...more

Making an expansion announcement about Gib would be huge.  Like you said, drilling would be good.  Could a processing plant be dismantled and moved to Yellowhead when finished?

I am not sure why you are expecting more production than guidance for Q3.  They are saying a 40% increase over the 50 million pounds from the first half of the year.  Thats 70 million pounds over two quarters.  I am expecting 35 million pounds this quarter. However, BB said that costs will be lower.  I assume they are producting 40% more copper while moving roughly the same ...more

Hey JC, an issue that traders aren't taking into account is the minimum price Taseko will be obtaining from their production over the next year. $3.75 minimum to end Q4 and $4 for 2022 H1. We'll get the benefit inthe earnings reports but the traders pay it no attention. And, while the actual "final, final permit" may not be in hand until the back end of Q4, anyone listening ...more

You are right.  The only real risk in owning this company right now is the Florence permit--and that is a done deal IMO.  Debt is not a risk.  The bonds have been reworked at a lower rate.  Copper price is not an issue because puts have been purchased as insurance.   The only reason this stock is not soaring right now is because most investors are not paying attention ...more
