Remember when I basically said the EPA was subhuman?

WELP

I honestly thought I was bailing right before Florence. But I'd stay in now if you've been this long, it'd be too anti-strategy to change investing style after this long.

That said I'd flip over your gains to lithium when you're done (except that one jerk if he's still (hopefully) here), I've made a ton till about January and only been treading water since then in this bear market environment.

In descending order:

Lithium Americas
Standard Lithium
Sigma Lithium
Core Lithium
Sayona Mining
Neometals
Pilbara Minerals
Cypress Development
Leo Lithium

and some tech stocks I was forced to invest in by a certain someone lol, well they're not bad at all :3

Then again your PE is really low and there's Florence eventually, but the EPA is sub-human so there's that.

Maybe the thing to do is to just hold onto what you've held on for so long till you get the big event, and start buying growth elsewhere in the meantime.

not that any convincing here will change the needle much, just advice

PS. I know they're understaffed, it's no excuse.

Yeaaah, I remember some people objecting that the EPA was important and not subhuman. I mean I agree with the first part, but they're definitely as much of a problem as the NIMBYs. Someone should literally force feed them their paper and protests. Their behavior is parasitical to a healthy society and their behavior should be stomped out.

Somebody should make a London Underground version of the EPA, with regards to a rational and healthy economy. And yes, I'm an environmentalist, was my first dream job when I was six. Most of their delays have nothing to do with it. https://youtu.be/kUs-q2lfcMw anyway, glad I got out. Good luck!

The song that is, imagine an EPA-Taseko version of it.

If you get into more mining stocks in the future, I'd advise getting more into whatever's the most impacted by the green shift (for max CAGR and political support), copper is impacted positively, but on the very low end.  Even lithium is under attack by the subhuman NIMBYs, copper shouldn't expect significant support.  am I joking? Sigh, yes, unlike with Russia and China ...more

Copper is just too massive a market to be impacted enormously by the green shift, as certain speciality chemicals and rare minerals.  That said, the super cycle price rice should resume once any recession ends and we win the war (soonish, Russia is losing reaaaaallly hard militarily and economically, I read in depth papers on this daily, check the Yale report for the economic summary parts. ...more

Please stop.  The green shift will require massive improvement of the electrical infrastructure.  That means a huge copper shortage. Go for your lithium investments but this is not an accurate assessment of copper relative to the green shift.

I think coppers uptick could be in part because of the proposal of the 270 billion green plan tabled in the u.s. North america is trying to catch up to europe and asia on the green front. I am thinking more along the lines that the world will be short copper quick. At 10.00 copper, the world can go to work cleaning up messes.  Mines will be approved quickly at that point.  I guess ...more
