I'm amazed it went down below $1. I still haven't bought, because I'm 98.5% in on lithium (plus ASTS, a bit of crypto and Nano One), and copper isn't compatible with my strategy especially with a potential recession coming up... but as soon as Florence is finished it should be a quick return to $2+. but as I've said before, the EPA is subhuman

(The EPA is) almost as parasitical trash as the FDA, which I hated before Covid. These two agencies have paralyzed American innovation and economic progress for negative health gains, and often (but far from always) net negative environmental gains.  Yes, I'm dehumanizing them on purpose, only partly as a joke.

Contrarian, what's your take then on the likelihood and/or timing of the permit for Florence being issued. ( or is it totally a coin toss?) for consideration... - there has already been litigation with the town... it lost and paid TKO expenses. - the previous round of public comments only had one person in opposition and the entire town leadership was in support of Florence.

I think the likelyhood is about 99% or I wouldn't be invested in the stock. As to when, I have no idea. There was a mass exodus from many government agencies during the Trump administration, so many offices are short-handed. My wild guess is October for best case and January-February for worse case. Overall, I think any copper project that's economically viable now will do well in the ...more

Nice to have an investor on here from epa. I always suspected staff shortage, which comment period would be affected greatly. I may get a chance to accumulate a few more. nf

Yeah, things were so much better with leaded gas, the Detroit river catching fire, love canal and DDT....
