... ore beginning for the second half of this year. It looks like they are about a year ahead of schedule.

I think he got it from this statement from Stu. Stuart McDonald, President and CEO of Taseko, commented, "The strong finish to 2023 is expected to continue in 2024 as the Gibraltar pit will remain the main source of ore for the first half of this year." I did a double take when I read that too.  Why would he say the first half of this year.  Where in the world would ...more

You are correct. I see there are pits at Gibralter with other names, for example, the 2nd quarter report stated "the 1.7 million tons of oxide ore from the Connector pit".
