Florence update

joes its quite simple... you are emotionally attached to tko... if you step back you can sea that the value of florence is 600 million ( 480 to tko)... that price was set when they sold minority intrest and stream.... that is current value... once florence starts producing it will get re- rated  but that is 2-3 years off and still has considerable risks involved.... thats your first trip to the wood shed....

secondly if you want to look at the value of Gibralter and all the fcf it is making ( very little).... do the math for the last few years... tko added 150 mill in additional bond debt, did a 30 mill pp  , sold the remaining silver for 10 mill , added 50 mill to their line of credit ( debt), announced a 50 mill  ATM placement , and sold / streamed some of florence for 150 mill...   that 450 million.... seams like a lot for a 200 million build ....  now wear is all the cash from Gibralter?  please let me know?

back to the woodshed...

bottomline..  tko is highly leveraged with a marginal mine.... florence is a good developement asset  however has a fair amount of risk... it can be a decent swing stock, however not so much as late.... as copper goes up so will tko ( duh).... mite see 3.00 cnd  this year...

Whoa there Clubby, you're starting to act like a teenage stalker. Three separate posts of the same content at different times under different headlines, that's stalker stuff ole Clubbreath. Are you that desperate for a response from us to do such things? Yeah, must be. Clubby the attention seeker. Okay then Clubnuts, if you're that desperate, here's our reply: No, we're not ...more

The revaluing based upon Florence will not happen all on the day production begins.  It will happen over the next 15 months as production nears.  That is my speculation. If they get the bonds re-worked, that might help a little.  But no rush with interest rates coming back down out of the stratosphere.

If you think Florence is operating in 15 months, you are in for a surprise.  I don't think the company is even pitching that number.  It will be late '25 early '26 at best before they are producing anything and at least a year to ramp it up.  ISL is not a flick of the switch...

I believe the announcment, said they are now drilling well field with 4 rigs. That is very agressive. I believe they will be able to use the test facility to flood. They could easily be at nameplate by end of 2025.  nf

There is no way they are at nameplate at the end of 25.  Its not humanly possible.  They haven't even started the buildout.  Even the company ( who has been pretty aggressive on their dates in the past) said in their last update they would get first production at the end of 25.  It will take a year at least to ramp up to nameplate.  ISL takes time to ramp up

I guess time will be the tell 4. If you r comparing excelsior to florence, there just is nothing similar to them. They started up without knowledge and so could not extract and had to shut down and go back to the drawing board. That was a few years ago. They came up with an exciting guess as to how to make it work. There deposit was not highly fractured like the florence. There is no indication ...more

No, Florence has had much better test results then Excelsior. They shouldn't have the same issues.  I am just looking at other ISL projects I have invested in and have spoke to enough people in the industry.  It takes quite a while to get things optimized.  I only mention it because lots of people seem to think its a quick ramp up to nameplate and it really isn't.

So we have the best data right in front of us. When plant is complete, the fluid will be available. The plant is just much bigger than the tf.  So to get accurate timeframe, one only needs to look at tf time from extracting fluid to producing cathode. The large plant will be even quicker as much was learned at the tf. Just like any large plant, there will be a month or so of commissioning ...more

Big rain, heavy snow?  Ha ha.  This is Arizona.  Weather rarely if ever impedes construction.  Not even the heat.  Our workers just switch to working at night with lights during the middle of the summer.   The dangers for delays will be in the supply chain and labor availability--and world war and stuff like that.  Not weather.

Point is. Poop happens. So things could take longer. Florence has mitigated much possible holdups. Right now concrete is needed. I have heard of no probs with supplies there. Then the shell goes up. My guess is that it will be all alloyed steel. That seams 8n good supply. After that ya got electrical and pipefitting staged to match modular components instalation. Perhaps I will apply to do the ...more

Yes nice and easy from that perspective.  JC shall we have a bet on the first quarter that gives revenue from Florence?  I say 1q2026.  so 23 months from now.
Comment by cashtango00 on Feb 07, 2024 6:43pm
I would say that is a good bet. Q1'26 first commercial quantity produced and Q1'27  they hit their target production level.
Comment by JCSunsfan on Feb 07, 2024 10:21pm
I am not taking any bets on that.  There could easily be delays.  I just doubt it will be weather related.

I do know that at TGB $1.33 US, I am adding shares.  And more if it drops more.

Problems at florence should be nothing compared to ncu. The ug developement encountered much more water than expected. Fortunately, they were in the process of doubling pumping capacity and are dry and finishing up the remaining build. Pala has come to the table with the needed cash. They think they have the mill issuses fixed and are back at nameplate hoisting as well. The premiure mill and mine ...more

PH is much better.   Look at NCU.  Never ending bags!  Must get heavy holding all those bags though.

If the stock market was always right there wouldn;t be a point for an investor to prove it wrong!     Florence is worth at least 2 dollllars candian and gib is worth 2 dollars canadian after debt is accounted for.  So trading at either a free gib or a free florence.
