I think the Ango market cap is $34B right now.  BHP wants it for $39 B BUT doesnt want the non-copper mines and would return shares in those back to shareholders.  So its more.  Not sure how even to value the offer. Interesting times.  These are big fish compared to Taseko.

Looks like AA said no to BHP.  Not a big enough offer I guess.  Makes sense.  Copper is heading to $5. Does anyone know where the top end of our collars is set and how far out?

Last conference call they mentioned  puts, not collars.   So we may be in the money not matter how high it goes....

Bottom paragraph page 6.  3.25 puts, not collars, must have thought the outlook for copper was good... https://www.tasekomines.com/_resources/financials/Q4-2023.pdf

I bit.  Basically the post says it would take at least $6 buyout offer to put enough pressure on the board and mgmt to get them to consider a buyout.   Interesting notion.  I think this is a $20 stock one Florence is at full production. So would $6 be a good deal?

So will BHP come back with a higher price?

So would $6 be enough to get you to part with your shares?
