The strike
Is timely. It is about time for some contractor maintenance. Why pay 200 people to sit and watch??
With picked lines at site. Tko does not even need to hire security. Employees get a paid break.
Everyone wins.

They do their own maintenance internal so contracting that out on a strike would still be scab labor

Well bc. We will c. I have been involved in mining, forestry and oilfield. When there is a majore maintenance needed, experts get called. 20 years ago, I made 3 thousand a day to provide service. Today, my younger cousins supply only labour at about the same. Nf

How did you go from making $780k per year (approx $1.2million in todays dollars) to having to pump up a mid tier copper producer? Sorry about your luck sir, I will stop providing facts about a company I have close friends and family working at providing "expert" maintenance, heck I may even take a trip up there this weekend to show them some support!

I'm sure I've figured it out Fluffer, in these parts you need literacy to make that type of money. Sorry your members are striking on you, hope Taseko is treating you well.
