It's been many decades since I attended university, and I doubt I remember much of the "soft" science intro courses I took. Nevertheless, I find it great fun to see the board in general turn upon its former cheerleader for having half-abandoned the true righteous path of hold-and-never-question.

Over my investment career, I only wish I had had the opportunity to sometimes hear the other side of the story. Pre-inter-web days, that wasn't as easy as 1-2-3. Interesting to see that most people, now that they have too-easy access to multiple viewpoints, now choose to only hear their own echochamber.

I find it hilarious that given an opportunity to learn or consider other views, the vast majority choose to shut out anything that might interfere with their chosen orthodoxy.  I'm sure that must've been covered in Psych101.

SKE put out the best FS I've ever seen on time that's why. They held an hour long webinar detailing their plans going forward and raised $80 million from a major to advance the project. TLG not so much I respect risk and run away when things don't smell right

SKE's FS is impressive with a NPV(5%) of $2.3B @ $2,000 Au & $23.00 Ag vs. current market cap of $491M and a project capex of $713M. They delivered on their FS release in November. BTW, just noticed that SKE apparently isn't going to be at PDAC either. They have their FS in hand are still a long way from obtaining full financing for their Eskay Creek project, so their absence seems odd barring a reveal of the remainder of the financing package components in the near future.

According to Catherine Stretch the last few years Troilus had a booth at PDAC they had more visitors from marketing companies trying to sell them than actual interested investors.  They plan on using their office as the center of activity with many employees in town with a full slate of meetings scheduled.  PDAC is not the forum where big deals to finance Troilus will be made.  That

TLG's Toronto office on Lombard Street is less than 2km away from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto (PDAC sites), so it seems logical that, if potential investors / lenders / partners want to discuss business in person, they wouldn't have to go far by cab (limo?), so let's give TLG the benefit of the doubt re. There's no way any financing is pending. No one drops hundreds of millions without massive due diligence and that starts with the FS.  I'm much more in your camp as to waiting before making a sizeable bet. While it's entirely possible if not likely that the FS results in a mini moonshot the risk is that it falls flat or is marginal. Not worth an all in bet for me.  If the
