I would consider that a large sell off and that was BEFORE the kidnappings ,murder and affected mining operations. And gold was way higher. It was over $2 last July. It was over pumped.

Long term bottom not far ? Wake up call..... I think this is very important indeed : many people long gold may think that even if 1180 breaks, the real long term bottom cannot be far down. I see it from some comments right here : why not buy now, after all, we are close to the bottom, so why should I risk to miss the bounce? Imho, this is a very dangerous statement. People

we may have to restructure our debt here a bit longer term , but i dont think so . everyone has some debt weather a truck a house , shares  of a good comany , you name it , you go to a bank and consolidate and refinance , thats what banks are here for , this way you relieve  the pressure  valve and control your own destiny  and arent under pressure to  take a loss .
