Profit taking

Hard to beliueve that 3 months ago TMM was trading at $.15. I would think that many investors are lightening up their TMM shares at $.50 and enjoy the profit.

A fairly established wall is in place at that price point.

You are right about the selling as far as I am concerned Charlie but it is not all profit for me. I bought as low as 23c but also bought as high as $2.20 which seems a long ways away right now. I am a bit overweight in TMM right now and still have the memory of huge losses just a few months ago. I am heavy into gold stocks right now and my strategy has been to slowly sell as the prices go up. This ...more

I hear you Bob. Although I may be making some pocket change on TMM, it is only because I came to this stock in the past 9 months. I took some major losses in other stocks prior to selling and moving into TMM and the truth be known, anyone who has been in precious metals stocks the past 5 years has taken a major hit. Only now are we seeing some sunlight.  The profit takers today are the ...more

I agree with you guys , I also remember buying  this as high as $2.00 but only started buying immediately again the day I read that Goldcorp took shares in TMM at $0.30 for their plant equipment. After the price kept dropping below $0.30 I kept averaging down all the way down to $0.15 and then stopped buying as I do not like being too overweight in any one company ( will only overweight with ...more

I just discovered this stock recently and bought in at 31.5.  Unfortunately, I waited too late in that day when it was .24...  However, not ready to take profit yet.  I think this stock will continue to climb.  How can it not?  A sure thing in my opinion.  I think another great one to have is VIT.  Victoria Gold...lotsa cash and lotsa gold!  I took profit on ...more

There's bound to be some profit taking from those who got in below 20c and I don't blame them. But they are the minority and will be repalced. For us longs who held on for years we know the company is going to turn around in a big way with higher POG. This is basically a leverage play on gold. I think gold will breach 1300 by the end of this month.

There is also the day traders. They get in early in the trading when there's a lot of hype. But by day's end they bail, profit or not. We're a very liquid stock.
