Gold Slump and Interest Rate

I've been tracking this company for a few weeks now, and really surprised that it's dropping so much (and gold in general too). The chance of Feds raising interest in June is low, which means the market isn't quite gearing up, so why is gold still dropping?

Welcome to stockhouse. While I can write you a 50-page answer and point you to a dozen studies, the fact is that no one really understand gold prices. The market obviously thinks a rise in interest rate would simply mean to a lower price for gold, a non-yeilding commodity. But this correlation carries much less weight when the debt to GDP ratio reaches alarming levels. When you have the largest ...more

Aurum, you are absolutly right. I ve posted it a couple times, the global debt and the party the have right now around the printers can not go on much further, all the manipulation will come to a grinding stop. Gold is the biggest threat to that party. The Banksters think they can outsmart everything. The worst thing is, at the end of the day they get bailt out, they dont go to prison not one has ...more

US dollar is based on faith, and only faith!  It's just a piece of paper, which people believe has value.  Right now, the Fed is continuing to manipulate perception.  That will change.  USA is bankrupt.
