  This guy's from Wells fargo after making such a statement "gold going back to $1050" bases his statement on no real facts except for technical analysis as far as I can see. Right now the thesis is gold does not pay you anything to hold it whereas currency ( such as US dollar for example) does so it is a true statement why would anyone wanna hold gold and get paid nothing ...more

Yes, that Wells Fargo guy has missed out on economic reallities. Italian Banks on a brink of the next bail out, Deutsche Bank is shaking, Brexit, Euro in the fighting with the death, negative interest rates, that guy is dreaming, may be he is still short on Gold and losing money, who knows

Right now gold is going up 1% a day, and Wells Fargo is paying less than 1% a year.  Better than Europe and Japan I guess, but hardly worthy of the argument that gold doesn't pay interest.  Is there downside risk ? Always, but the trend is your friend, and can go on far longer than you think.  There will be a pullback, and I will buy again.  I am not selling my miners, but ...more

I must admit I was careful with TMM pre brexit sold everything June 22 but times are a changing! Wish I had held long but couldn't risk the downside.  Lost 10000 shares on the move back in but the sky is the limit now!  Day traders are holding us back as you can almost predict he price swing day to day but that will just slow the horses but the finish line is just around the bend ...more
