Tom Gallo, an analyst with Canaccord, pegs TMAC’s net asset value at around $1 billion, far enough above its market value to fetch a premium and still be attractive to a buyer with better access to capital. Note that the current market value is $335M.

They need a larger player to come in and joint venture.  There will be a good premium given the assets. Reminds me of the Malartic play by Osisko.

They need new management. This project never has had strong leadership under the TMAC banner. What does a banker know about running a gold mine in the remote arctic? Not much clearly...
