The trading in TMAC is counterintuitive

In theory, insofar as the POG has risen $150 in the last 5 weeks, one would anticipate that TMAC would be favorably impacted. I was hoping that the recent elevation in the POG would bring the fire-sale discussions to a conclusion.

Sherm, I've signed up for a free MorningStar account late last year and through that you can see the monthly level of selling (and buying) from different funds and institutions. I've been attempting to keep snapshots each month end. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of these reports, but in January alone BlackRock funds sold about 1.2M shares, Sentry 640K and Schroder 340K shares. There ...more

I forgot to add that at this pace, the BlackRock selling may likely end close to the same time that they announce their 1Q20 production numbers in mid-April. I'm on the record stating that the 1Q20 numbers should be a blow-out with the highest gold prices, best throughput, highest recovery rates and highest input grades possible with this plant.
