Chinese company owning a mine is one thing; Chinese government using it as a North American Artic base (as some are suggesting) is silly. Look at a map; Doris North is at the mouth of a bay. They would be pinned in with nowhere to go. PLUS, any naval fleet would have to sail right past the USA navy (ALaska) on their way. Doris airport is NOT an international airport.
