I have a hunch that Tmac will be bought out by Agnico Eagle.

The Golden Eagle AEM has a number of mines in Nunavut already and they know how to operate in the far north. Very disciplined company and the best CEO in the mining industry.

It would seem natural that Agnico Eagle would be a good fit as a new suitor for the TMAC Hope Bay project. They need a follow-on project for the Meadowbank mine which is at end of life - I believe there are 650 employees involved in that project in Nunavut and another near Rankin Inlet. Whoever is going to get involved is going to have to bid more than $1.75, so not hard to see why the shares ...more
