another contract in the works ???

Could this have something to do with the excitement? From a week ago or so. TPS might be getting another contract. They may just pull along nicely. They are also into millitary contracts and waiting for trial test.

Company’s transportation division to provide automated people mover to Phoenix airport

Bombardier (TSX: T.BBD.B, Stock Forum) reported Tuesday that its Bombardier Transportation division has signed $255 million in contracts with the City of Phoenix, Arizona for the supply, operations and maintenance of an automated people mover system at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

Bombardier says the design-build contract, worth US$186 million, includes the design and supply of all of the system-wide electrical and mechanical equipment, and the construction and equipping of the operations and maintenance and storage facility.

The company also signed a separate operate-maintain contract, valued at US$69 million, under which it will provide operation and maintenance services for 10 years.

Reminds me of teck cominco ( teck resources TCK.B ). It had a terrible out look and all of a sudden they worked ther way out of demise. $4 back 6 months ago, now at $24. Once TPS's millitary contract trials are completed successfully, this should pop. More money coming in. This is getting more exciting with each passing week.

Fullhouse, my only concern here is the short term as volume today was cut in 1/2 and the share price dropped about 30%. Poeple taking profits from yesterday?? Yes, you're right, this would pop given the success of the contracts!!! Whats in stor for tommorow??GLTA George

As Georgie said. Traders taking some profits. People will buy at 3.5 again and 4. I did not suggest it would ramp up to 7 or 8 cents short term. The choice is yours. If they keep securing infrastructure contracts and get a green light on military contract trials, this has potential. I'm sure if I bought at 1.5 I would sell at 4.5 too.
