Can anyone explain why some of the TRP preferred shares pay under a 4% dividend while others pay over 11%? Seems to me all should be close to each other.

Can you provide the ticker and I can have a look? You realize that for preferred shares you have to take the actual dividend and divide by the share price, not the face value or issue price (typically $25) to calculate the yield.

F/h/I are floating preferred shares, so reset every quarter b/c reset every 5 years, next reset dates are in 06/25 & 01/26; reset yields based on current 5-year Canadian government bonds are 10.2 & 10.3% respectively

STILL have TRP.pr.h , seems to be a safe bet if the markets tank in the nex while. I know its an election year, so the parties in power want the stockmarket to stay strong. But after that even happens, we could see a real serious correction.
