as they say - "it isn't over till its over" They all start off with a low ball bid and make the same statements. question is - how strong are the minority holders? In TRQ's case we have some very strong minority holders in Pentwater capital and Sailingstone. I beleive that under Canadian law, they hold enough shares to force arbitration should Tinto push a stink bid.

marpincan, as I see it this is the biggest game of chicken between the three interersted parties. The question is who's going to blink first.............and second. It's like that final gunfight scene in the movie "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" TRQ = The Good GOM = The Ugly (no bullets in gun) RIO = The Bad
