I believe everything we are seeing in the Markets today began with Gamestop short squeeze. They one hedge fund got hammered and then other took a hit. Too long have the bllionaires had a strangle hold on the market where they imposed their will on a stock. I'm sure once the short squeeze happened and those that were short in certain stocks lost big and now have to do whatever they can to make that money back or move to safe harbour stocks.
We see stocks that pay dividends move higher and tech get hammered (the big tech need to get hammered because their earnings are down but stock prices rising!). Once things calm down then we'll see a return to tech but until then we'll see red for days if not weeks. We are now 2 weeks into a bear market. This is my honest opinion and you should do your own research.
